Location: Falconer, NY

Salary Range: $ 55,000.00 to $ 62,000.00

Job Summary:

SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. We design & manufacture complex, high-performance, high-value bearings in steel and advanced ceramics. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of the aerospace industry and the world's leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.

Key Responsibilities:

The analysis includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cleanliness rating, carbide rating, grain size rating, retained austenite measurement, residual stress measurement, hardness measurement, and macro and micro etch.
  • Computer programming as it pertains to lab efficiency improvements, skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visual Basic.
  • Maintaining lab cleanliness, reordering supplies, and maintaining lab samples and lab records.

Job Requirements:

  • The position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field. Courses in chemistry, metallurgy, and Heat Treatment are preferred.
  • Two to three (3) years of experience in engineering or a manufacturing environment. 
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
