Position Summary

The Insulation Estimator is responsible for evaluating construction plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for insulation projects. This role involves assessing materials, labor, and equipment needs, collaborating with project managers and clients, and ensuring estimates aligned with budgets and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand methods and equipment involved in Residential and Commercial installs
  • Must be able to utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PlanSwift
  • Must be able to understand building codes and R-Values
  • Must be able to read construction documents
  • Must be safety minded at all times/Attend all safety meetings
  • Attend Job site meetings
  • Contract negotiation & review
  • Estimating Residential and Commercial projects
  • Proposal Reviews
  • Tracks and follows up on all estimates
  • Maintain inventory spreadsheets
  • Helps with inventory
  • Other related duties as assigned
