Job description

McCorvey Sheet Metal is a Family-owned and operated company seeking highly qualified, skilled commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our team! Immediate availability and room for growth. If you have experience with assembling and installing sheet metal ductwork, we want to see you! McCorvey Sheet Metal works primarily on larger projects such as hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and many other vertical markets.

Requirements:

  • MUST be able to pass a drug screen, background, and physical 
  • Must have experience working with sheet metal – working on large commercial projects
  • Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
  • Layout hangers utilizing dimensions or with a Trimble unit
  • Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauge, and different materials used
  • Have all necessary tools to perform your duties 
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocol and procedures

Duties – Including but not limited to: 

  • Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude
  • Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
  • Communicate with Foreman and superiors daily to ensure the job is on schedule
  • Attend onsite safety meeting
  • Install the highest quality product
  • Represent McCorvey in a professional manner
