Unarmed Security Guard Bel Air, MD
Position Summary
The Unarmed Security Guard (UG) is a part of TCS Security, which protects our client's premises, assets, personnel, and maintains a high visibility presence, and prevents illegal or inappropriate actions. The UG's responsibility is to provide unarmed guard services and maintain a safe and secure environment for the employees and visitors of. of the Internal Site and External Site.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain entrance and exit logs for authorized persons
  • Inspect bags and packages entering the premises
  • Metal Detectors: Guards will be required to operate metal detectors as deemed necessary by the Regional Manager or Designee
  • Periodically patrolling the interior area, and after the close of business, check for fire hazards, and mechanical alarm system malfunctions, ensuring doors are secured and turning off unnecessary lights
  • Report any security violations to the facility manager
  • Maintain a daily duty log, noting all activities and incidents that occurred during each shift

Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Active guard card or the ability to obtain
  • Must have the ability to greet and interact positively and courteously with the public.
  • Must speak, read, and write English in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and apply printed rules and directions.
  • Must be in good general health and able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift and able to lift or carry objects of up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Must maintain a current First Aid Card and will be required to show the card upon request.

$17 per hour
Schedule
Saturday & Sunday 8am-8pm
