Job Title: Quality Auditor Team Lead - Food Production โ€“ (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Location:ย Lincoln Park, MI

Shift:ย Monday โ€“ Friday 5:00AM โ€“ 2:30PM

Pay Rate:ย $19-21 based on experience

Position Overview

The Quality Auditor Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities during their assigned shift within a frozen food manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with food safety regulations, internal quality standards, and customer specifications. The Shift Lead provides guidance to Quality Auditors, verifies documentation accuracy, and ensures all products meet safety and regulatory requirements before release.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Quality Auditors during assigned shift and serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor
  • Conduct and oversee finished goods inspections, net weight checks, scrap reporting, ATP testing, and sample preparation
  • Monitor and document Critical Control Points (CCPs), including cooking temperatures, pH levels, and cooling processes
  • Verify proper operation of metal detectors and perform operational sanitation inspections
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety programs, and regulatory standards
  • Communicate quality concerns and corrective actions to production and management teams
  • Assist in training new auditors on procedures and compliance requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing quality assurance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to work in cold/freezer environments for extended periods.
  • Standing, walking, and bending as part of daily duties.
  • Ability to speak and translate in both English and Spanish preferred
