Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM Associate (Hands on Delivery Expert)
Focus: Planning (EPBCS / PBCS), ARCS & Transaction Matching
Role Summary:
The Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM Consultant will play a hands on role in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Planning and ARCS with Transaction Matching, for finance and controllership teams. This role focuses on configuration, execution, and close collaboration with business users.
Experience Required
• 8-10 years Oracle EPM experience
• Strong hands on experience in Planning + ARCS (Reconciliation & Transaction Matching)
• Strong finance background
Location: Charlotte Area preferred, or flexible for travel as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Oracle EPM Planning (Primary Focus)
• Configure and support Oracle EPM Planning (EPBCS / PBCS) applications for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Build and maintain planning models, dimensions, metadata, and security in alignment with finance requirements.
• Develop and support business rules / calculation scripts, web input forms, and planning dashboards.
• Support budget cycles, forecasts, and what if analysis for finance users.
• Enable and support Smart View for Excel for reporting, analysis, and executive reviews.
• Assist in performance tuning and optimization of planning calculations.
ARCS & Transaction Matching
• Configure and support Oracle ARCS for account reconciliation and close processes.
• Build and maintain:
- Reconciliations, profiles, rules, and workflow approvals
- Transaction Matching rules, tolerances, and auto matching logic
• Support reconciliation execution, exception handling, and close coordination with Controllership teams.
• Assist with audit support by providing reconciliation evidence and traceability.
EPM Data Integration & Automation
• Support data integrations within Oracle EPM Cloud using Data Exchange, sourcing data from Oracle Fusion ERP, sub ledgers, and flat files.
• Execute and monitor end to end data pipelines supporting Planning, ARCS, and Transaction Matching.
• Utilize EPM Automate for:
- Data and metadata loads
- Application backups and restores
- Environment execution and scheduling
• Troubleshoot data load issues and integration failures in collaboration with leads and architects.
• Validate data consistency between source systems and EPM targets.
Testing, UAT & Documentation
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test execution, defect tracking, and validation of fixes.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, configuration details, and user guides.
• Assist with user training and knowledge transfer activities to ensure operational readiness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Work closely with finance and accounting users to understand business requirements.
• Translate functional needs into EPM configurations under guidance from lead consultants or architects.
