Job description

Data Warehouse Analyst
Contract: 9-Months
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (5 days, onsite)
This position does not support third-party submissions, subcontracting, or Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements.
We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to design, develop, and optimize enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI and Snowflake. This role is responsible for building scalable dashboards, semantic models, and data visualizations, developing advanced DAX and SQL solutions, optimizing reporting performance, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, data-driven insights while maintaining enterprise standards for governance, documentation, and data quality.
Qualifications:
  • 5+  years of IT experience with business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting solutions.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience developing enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, and paginated reports using advanced DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong expertise in SQL development, dimensional modeling, star schema design, and Snowflake data architecture, including query optimization, clustering, RBAC, and compute management.
  • Experience integrating Power BI with Snowflake, managing metadata, data lineage, governance, and enterprise reporting documentation.
  • Knowledge of Power BI workspace administration, Report Builder, report embedding, and CI/CD/version control best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dataflows, semantic models, dashboards, and enterprise reports using dimensional modeling and Power BI best practices.
  • Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimized SQL queries to support high-performance analytics and reporting against Snowflake data sources.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize Snowflake fact and dimension tables and ensure efficient Power BI integration, query performance, and data reliability.
  • Build intuitive, scalable reporting solutions that meet business requirements while troubleshooting and optimizing Power BI, SQL, and Snowflake performance.
  • Document data lineage, metadata, report specifications, and technical artifacts to support governance, maintainability, and enterprise standards.
  • Partner with business users, subject matter experts, and technical teams to deliver enterprise-ready reporting solutions while providing ongoing support and continuous process improvement.
