JOB SUMMARY:

The Digital Marketing Supervisor, Paid Search and Paid Social is a hands-on leadership role responsible for owning paid search and paid social strategy, execution, and team leadership across a portfolio of agency clients. This role leads the Paid Search and Paid Social team, ensuring best in class performance, strong client relationships, and scalable, repeatable processes that drive results.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a practitioner who is deeply fluent in Google Ads and Meta Ads, stays ahead of platform changes, embraces innovation, and brings structure and clarity to campaign management in a fast-paced agency environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Paid Media Strategy and Execution
    • Own paid search and paid social strategy across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Meta platforms including Facebook and Instagram.

    • Lead campaign planning, structure, execution, and optimization across full funnel initiatives.

    • Translate client business objectives into actionable paid media strategies and KPIs.

    • Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, beta opportunities, and industry trends, proactively applying learnings to client programs.

    • Partner with analytics and ad operations teams to ensure accurate tracking, measurement, and attribution.

    Client Leadership and Communication
    • Serve as a senior paid media point of contact for assigned clients.

    • Confidently present paid media strategies, performance insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Contribute to client strategy reviews, look backs, and planning sessions with clear, actionable insights rather than data summaries.

    • Collaborate closely with Account Services, Creative, Production, and PR teams to ensure integrated execution.

    People Management and Team Development
    • Directly manage and mentor Paid Search and Paid Social specialists.

    • Set clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards for the team.

    • Review work for quality, strategic alignment, and adherence to best practices.

    • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to help team members grow their technical and strategic skill sets.

    • Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts as the team scales.

    Process and Operational Excellence
    • Develop, document, and implement repeatable paid media processes, SOPs, and QA frameworks.

    • Ensure consistent campaign builds, optimizations, pacing checks, and reporting standards.

    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance across accounts.

    • Foster a culture of organization, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.

    • Minimum 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing paid search and paid social campaigns, with at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

    • Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads is required.

    • Strong understanding of full funnel marketing and how paid media supports broader brand and performance goals.

    • Google Ads certification required. Meta Blueprint certification preferred.

    • Experience with analytics and reporting platforms such as Google Analytics and dashboarding tools preferred.

    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking.

    • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients and priorities.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    COMMUNICATION ABILITY
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data from dashboards, platform reporting, and industry resources to clearly communicate insights and recommendations in both one on one and group settings with clients and internal teams.
    REASONING ABILITY
    Ability to define problems, evaluate performance trends, establish facts, and draw strategic conclusions based on quantitative and qualitative inputs.
    COMPUTER SKILLS
    Proficiency in digital advertising platforms, analytics tools, and standard business software including spreadsheets, presentations, and documentation tools. Microsoft Office preferred.
    LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
    This role directly supervises paid search and paid social team members and is responsible for setting standards, mentoring talent, and ensuring high quality delivery across accounts.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT
    Fast paced, collaborative, and creative agency environment. Occasional travel and overtime may be required.
