In this role, you will serve as the primary point of accountability for leased site performance, ensuring that third-party landlord and colocation agreements are executed in alignment with Meta's infrastructure standards, capacity requirements, and operational commitments. You will drive cross-functional coordination across real estate, engineering, construction, and operations teams to deliver leased facility projects on time and within scope.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end project management for leased data center facilities, including site selection support, lease commencement activities, fit-out coordination, and operational handover
• Serve as the primary liaison between Meta and third-party landlords, colocation providers, and facility operators to ensure contractual obligations and service level commitments are met
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, risk registers, and milestone tracking for leased facility buildouts and expansions
• Coordinate with internal real estate, legal, and finance teams to support lease negotiations, amendments, and renewals that align with capacity planning objectives
• Oversee vendor and contractor performance on leased sites, conducting regular business reviews and ensuring work quality meets Meta's critical infrastructure standards
• Partner with data center engineering and operations teams to validate that leased facility infrastructure meets technical specifications for power, cooling, and network connectivity
• Identify and escalate project risks, schedule conflicts, and landlord compliance gaps, driving resolution through structured problem-solving and stakeholder alignment
• Develop and present project status reports, budget forecasts, and operational readiness assessments to data center leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Support the development and continuous improvement of leased facility project management frameworks, playbooks, and governance processes
• Collaborate with capacity planning and construction teams to align leased facility delivery timelines with Meta's global infrastructure demand signals
Minimum Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in project management within data center, colocation, or critical infrastructure environments
• 8+ years of experience managing leased or third-party facility relationships, including landlord or colocation provider engagement
• Experience overseeing complex, multi-stakeholder infrastructure projects from initiation through operational handover
• Experience with contract and vendor management in a critical infrastructure or real estate context, including performance tracking and issue resolution
• Experience developing and communicating project plans, risk assessments, and executive-level status reports to cross-functional audiences
Preferred Qualifications
• Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
• Experience using project portfolio management tools to track milestones, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent facility projects
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
