At Lakeside Foods, we rely on our maintenance technician team to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. As a maintenance supervisor, you will lead a team of skilled mechanics/technicians who perform a variety of tasks, from mechanical and fabrication updates to process improvement. You will also be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the facility and ensuring compliance with safety standards. If you have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for solving complex problems we want to talk to you!

 What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise a team Mechanics to ensure the completion of all tasks involved in prepack and day-to-day pack operations.
  • Order parts for machines and keep an efficient and accurate inventory of all parts necessary for stock.
  • Keep an open line of communication with subordinates.
  • Develop work schedules for maintenance team.
  • Estimate time and materials for specific jobs while considering cost implications.
  • Responsible for the operation, care and upkeep of all company owned tools and equipment that his/her department uses.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies, procedures and training requirements.

 What You’ll Bring:

  • Two years Vo-Tech Training in equipment maintenance and/or five years experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus
  • Prior welding experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude
