Professional Practice Advisor

Full Time Days

40 hours/week, Monday- Friday

This role will handle the daily operations of the Win From Within program- Nursing, Imaging, Respiratory and Surgical Tech students. Incumbent will report directly to the Manager of Academic Relations.

  • Win From Within provides up to $10,000/year (up to 3 years) for tuition/books/fees at eligible schools/programs.

In addition to supporting the Win From Within program, this role will be responsible for coordinating clinical rotations and preceptor placement for nursing students. The professional practice advisor will also assist with academic pipeline development efforts/events across the Mercy South community.

Requirements

Education: Bachelors Degree in a healthcare or related field
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Upholds and role models behaviors of professionalism. Remains knowledgeable in advances in the healthcare environment through continuing education. Is active in community/professional organizations. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Varies according to daily tasks, i.e., administrative versus clinical. Usually works in a clean, air-conditioned area.
