MMG is a large multi-specialty medical group of 500+ providers comprised of primary care physicians, specialists in more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. These professionals provide seamless primary and specialty care, working together to meet the unique needs of each individual patient.

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Mercy Medical Group is aligned with Dignity Health, operating on a medical foundation model. As an OB/GYN Physician with Mercy Medical Group, you will join a thriving multi-specialty group in the Folsom, CA area, directly impacting women's health through a balanced 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology. This opportunity offers a highly competitive sign-on bonus, flexible full-time or part-time options, and direct integration into an established team. You'll be primarily based at Mercy Hospital of Folsom, a facility featuring a Level 1 nursery, ensuring comprehensive care for your patients. This role is ideal for board-certified or eligible OB/GYN specialists seeking a long-term career path with significant growth potential within a supportive medical community.

You will provide exceptional patient care, managing both obstetric and gynecological cases, collaborating closely with a team of experienced physicians offering continuity of care to your patients. 

Highlights Include:

  • Very competitive sign-on bonus available.
  • Full time and part time positions available.
  • Join an established group of OB/GYN Physicians
  • Call 1:6
  • Incoming physician would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
  • In house OB hospitalist program available for OB back up call
  • Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year
  • Level I nursery with support from the Level lll NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center
  • 50/50 mix of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Robotics available, though not required

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being and a comprehensive understanding of both obstetrics and gynecology. Ideal candidates will be board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN Physicians with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of thriving in a collaborative team environment. 

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

  • Shareholder track, competitive compensation with bonus potential, desirable benefits
  • Option for additional income with hospitalist and back-up shifts at regional hospitals
  • Compensation Range: $370,000 - $390,000 / Year with opportunities for additional call pay

Required:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in OB/Gyn (ABMS or AOA)
  • Active or eligible California medical license in the state of California.
  • DEA certification
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment
