This remote position provides flexibility in scheduling and allows for a healthy work-life balance. You will have the opportunity to engage with clients through teletherapy sessions, utilizing secured video and messaging platforms that comply with health regulations. Our administrative staff and clinical supervisors are readily accessible to facilitate seamless communication, ensuring that you can focus your energy on client care.

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, formulate diagnostic impressions, and create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Provide ongoing therapy for individuals, couples, and families, implementing a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems therapy.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of client interactions and treatment progress within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Participate in optional case consultations and clinical team meetings to foster professional growth and improve service delivery.
• Remain informed about relevant licensure requirements, ethical guidelines, and evidence-based practices to ensure effective and compliant care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate to support the holistic needs of clients.

As a therapist at Divine Mercy Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse clientele encompassing individuals across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and presenting concerns. This includes clients seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and significant life changes. Your role is vital in fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their challenges and develop coping strategies for lasting change.

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of California.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated competence in a range of therapeutic modalities and strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate empathy and build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a clinical team.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and comfort using digital tools for therapy delivery.

• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy in an outpatient or community mental health setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and a willingness to engage in culturally competent practices.
• Strong ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to the online environment effectively.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued and encouraged in applicants.

We offer a competitive salary between $90,000 and $110,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and caseload. Benefits for eligible employees include:
