About This Opportunity
InComm Payments is looking for an Account Executive to join our fast-growing VanillaDirect business. This is a cross-functional role that supports the VanillaDirect Sales, Account Management, and Marketing functions. You'll play a central role in lead generation and prospecting for new partners, coordinating account management operations and initiatives, and supporting program related partner and retailer marketing efforts.

The VanillaDirect team leverages InComm Payments' vast merchant network and integrated payment technology to provide account load, bill payment and disbursement solutions to partner businesses looking to support their cash centric consumers. Today, the VanillaDirect program is used by many of the most recognized brands in the US across Banking and Fintech, e-Commerce, Tolling and Transit, Gaming and Sportsbook, Utilities and Wireless sectors and supported by most major retailers across Pharmacy, Convenience, Value, Grocery and Big Box channels.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an ambitious, collaborative, self-starter to report into the Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Sales Support (60%)
  • Support the sales team with pipeline management, reporting, forecasting, and CRM administration.
  • Coordinate sales strategy, proposals, and presentations.
  • Facilitate and lead introductory sales calls and referral meetings.
  • Collaborate with legal and product teams on contract development and new customer onboarding operations.

Account Management (30%)
  • Oversee day-to-day account management, including operational support, issue resolution, and escalation handling to maintain strong partner satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify growth opportunities, expand product adoption, and optimize partner performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, legal, finance, and operations) to drive initiatives that enhance partner success.
  • Analyze partner performance data, financial trends, and market insights to drive data-informed decision-making.

Marketing Support (10%)
  • Product Marketing, Brand Asset Management and Development, Messaging and Value Proposition Development, Campaign Management and Execution, Sales Material Maintenance and Development, general copy writing, and Press Release assistance.
  • Work in partnership with product, sales, creative, merchant account teams, PR, and legal to ensure consistent and effective marketing messaging, collateral and partner UX design.
  • Foster strong, productive interpersonal relationships with external partners and internal support team to ensure our customers are receiving a best-in-class experience.

    • Managing projects or coordinating cross-functional business initiatives.
    • Preparing reports, presentations and commercial documentation.
    • Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Experience in payments, financial services, fintech, SaaS, retail or technology is advantageous but not essential.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree required.
