This role follows a hybrid work model for candidates based near our Atlanta office. We're also open to remote candidates.


About this role:

We’re hiring an Strategic Account Executive to help build and scale Cognira’s enterprise sales motion.

You will own full-cycle enterprise sales within North America — from strategic account planning and executive discovery through multi-stakeholder negotiation and close. But beyond that, you will play an active role in defining our GTM strategy, refining our messaging, influencing product direction, and helping us scale from early traction to repeatable growth.


What will you do: 

  • Own full-cycle enterprise sales for new logo acquisition within North America
  • Develop strategic account plans and multi-threaded engagement strategies
  • Run complex sales cycles including, RFPs, procurement, and contract negotiations
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Strategic Account Development
  • Build relationships up to C-suite (CIO, COO, CFO, Merchandising, Supply Chain leaders)
  • Identify expansion pathways within target accounts
  • Partner with leadership to refine sales positioning, messaging, and pricing strategy
  • Provide structured market feedback to Product and Engineering
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing on pipeline generation strategy and campaign feedback
  • Work alongside Product to align roadmap with enterprise demand
  • Partner with Customer Success and Delivery to ensure seamless transitions from close to implementation

What you bring to the table:

Required

  • 3–7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally enterprise-focused
  • Demonstrated ability to own and close complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Proven prospecting and pipeline development capability
  • Experience navigating enterprise buying processes and procurement cycles
  • Strong executive presence and business acumen
  • Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-moving environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Preferred

  • Experience selling into retail, grocery, CPG, or supply chain organizations
  • Experience in startup or early-stage growth environments
  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Experience responding to RFPs and managing enterprise procurement cycles
  • Background helping build or scale sales processes
