Description

This position works within the Merchandising Department and is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining product data in the ERP database of 50,000+ products. The role executes the end-to-end CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) product setup process, managing product master data, pricing integrity, and quality standards for highly configurable items. The role supports product data governance by ensuring product information is accurate, consistent, and effectively maintained throughout its lifecycle. ย 


This role requires being on-site Monday-Friday in our Walnut Creek, CA office. ย ย 


Duties and responsibilities to include:ย 

  • Execute new CPQ product builds end-to-end: organizing and evaluating vendor data, calculating SKU pricing, and entering/uploading data into templates and the system.
  • Maintain and update complex product and item master data including pricing, options/variations, part numbers, descriptions, and other critical product information.ย 
  • Process vendor price and cost updates to ensure system accuracy and margin integrity.ย 
  • Actively monitor and update internal ticketing system to meet deadlines for all projects: researching and resolving issues related to products, vendors, and the ERP database.ย 
  • Support the development and execution of quality standards and procedures for CPQ product setup, pricing tables, and complex SKU matrices, and resolve related issues.ย 
  • Assist in executing merchandising projects and department operations to support product lifecycle management, inventory disposition, and cross-functional business initiatives.ย 
  • Execute other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support for company mission, values and goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience.ย 
  • 2+ years' experience with complex data management processes; with proven advanced Excel skills - verified by exam.
  • 2+ years' experience working in small teams for a mid-size company.ย 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues and recommend solutions.ย 
  • Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' related experience within a retail, distribution, wholesale, manufacturing, or eCommerce team responsible for ย ย ย ย ย maintaining a product database of 20,000+ products.
  • Demonstrated experience learning and troubleshooting technical systems.ย 
  • Hands-on experience with product configurators is a plus.ย 
  • Previous experience using NetSuite is a plus.
