The Merchandising Operations Specialist supports the execution and optimization of merchandising operations within a fast-paced retail and grocery environment. This role partners closely with merchandising, operations, accounting, supply chain, and technology teams to maintain accurate processes, enhance workflow efficiency, and drive operational initiatives that directly impact business performance. The position offers hands-on exposure to process improvement, operational transformation, and retail operations analytics within a technology-enabled grocery organization.
Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day merchandising operational processes and ongoing initiatives in a retail and grocery environment.
  • Execute merchandising workflows accurately and consistently to ensure smooth operational performance.
  • Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and workflow materials.
  • Document end-to-end workflows to support onboarding, training, and operational consistency.
  • Monitor operational reporting on a regular basis and investigate discrepancies or data anomalies.
  • Assist with the implementation and testing of new systems, tools, and processes related to merchandising operations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams in merchandising, operations, accounting, supply chain, and technology to support project execution.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.
