We have immediate openings for a Part Time Seasonal Merchandisers for our 2026 season. Job Summary:

The Retail Merchandiser will be responsible for providing retail merchandising coverage within an assigned territory. The main responsibilities are to provide service to Burpee retail accounts. This includes providing quality merchandising assistance with product orders, display setup, and display maintenance/replenishment, among other responsibilities.

Essential Duties:

  • Access Burpee’s retail customer portal regularly for work assignments, shipment updates and projects, as assigned by the Retail Merchandising Manager (RMM).
  • Assemble and dismantle Burpee Seed displays, racking, and store fixtures.
  • With Burpee Quality in mind, neatly arrange, straighten and organize displays.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships with store management.
  • Complete all weekly reporting and documentation accurately and on time, as assigned by your Regional Merchandising Manager (RMM). This includes but is not limited to: Submitting reorders for assigned retail accounts, monitoring Burpee inventory, sending updates of your findings to your RMM, and itemizing unsold packets at the end of the season.
  • Accurately log your daily punch-in and punch-out times and mileage for Burpee work.
  • Additional job related duties as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and takes initiative to problem solve.
  • Has attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintains momentum in a fast-paced environment
  • Will follow instructions and vendor guidelines (i.e. dress code, maintain clean work area)
  • Required to have the ability to lift, load, push and pull cartons weighing up to 50
  • Ability to bend, reach and squat.
  • Have a smart phone with internet, email access, and the ability to download/use apps.
  • Required to have reliable transportation.
  • Required to present a valid drivers’ license and auto insurance.
