Job description

Pay Rate is $18 an hour

This Position is Full Time with an expectation to work 40 hours a week split up into 4 ten hour shifts.


Job Summary:

The Merchandiser is considered essential support to the sales team and is responsible for product rotation, creative display building and proper merchandising within accounts.

Essential Accountabilities:

Completion of assigned route on a daily basis including but not limited to:

  • Creative display building
  • Proper merchandising of products
  • Proper merchandising of point of connection materials
  • Proper rotation and quality control of Nevada Beverage Co. products and packages
  • Establish and maintain good customer relations
  • Complete all required paperwork
  • Communication with Supervisor, Manager, Sales Reps or Drivers or other merchandisers as directed

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain company vehicle on a daily basis to insure it is clean and has appropriate fluids at all times
  • Must satisfactorily complete all required training through Nevada Beverage Co., including Anheuser Bush training and on the job training
  • Use company property including vehicles, uniforms, two-wheelers or any other company equipment or supplies in a safe and proper method following all company policy and procedure

Job Requirements:

As this person working closely with accounts, good customer service skills are mandatory. As a representative of Nevada Beverage Company, a neat and clean appearance must be maintained. The Merchandiser must be able to work independently, be creative and complete his/her assigned duties efficiently and productively, completing assigned routes and required paperwork on a daily basis, in a timely manner. Good communication skills with accounts, fellow employees and supervisors are imperative. Because of the necessity to be able to communicate effectively with accounts a merchandiser must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. A valid, Nevada Drivers License is required along with good driving record. The Driver’s License must be maintained at all times. The Merchandiser must be able to pull a pallet of product weighing approximately 1,500 pounds on a manual pallet jack and be able to lift approximately 40 pounds from floor to waist level on a frequent and repeated basis and from the waist to shoulder level on a repeated basis. Frequent bending, twisting, squatting and stooping are required as is the ability to reach and lift 30 pounds overhead up to ten times a day. Occasional lifting of 50 pounds on a repeated basis will be necessary. This position also requires that the merchandiser is able to walk and be on their feet constantly and drive a vehicle with no physical limitations.

A personal cell phone is required for this job and for use in day-to-day communication between the merchandiser and any employee assigned to the same route that the merchandiser is working. This includes managers, sales reps, and human resources. An updated, current phone number must be provided at all times.


Education Requirements:

This job is an entry-level position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills are helpful, and prior experience may be helpful but is not necessary.


The schedule is as follows: FOR TRAINING Tuesday - Friday Start time is 6 am end time is 4:30 pm. ONCE TRAINING HAS BEEN COMPLETED YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE WEEKEND SHIFT Friday - Monday Start time is 4 am end time is 2:30 pm. You may be required to work longer than the hours listed if you need more time to finish your route, you will be eligible for overtime for any extra hours worked.
