Our client, a well-established and fast-growing Montreal-based women's fashion brand known for its elegant, occasion wear and strong North American presence, is looking for a motivated Assistant Designer to join their creative team. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced designers and gain hands-on exposure to the full product development cycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the design team in developing seasonal collections from concept to production
  • Create technical sketches and flats using Adobe Illustrator
  • Assist in preparing mood boards, color palettes, and trend research
  • Edit and enhance images and presentation materials using Photoshop
  • Maintain and update design charts, line sheets, and costing tools in Excel
  • Organize samples, fabrics, trims, and design files
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and merchandising
