Our client, a well established home fashions manufacturer, is looking for an organized and proactive Sales and Merchandising Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you'll support the team through administrative tasks, meeting preparation, customer interactions, and order management.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily administrative and operational support to the sales, design and production teams.
Organize and prepare the showroom, product samples, and materials for sales meetings.
Handle customer sample dispatch, maintain customer files, and generate reports.
Manage and verify incoming orders for accuracy, ensuring smooth processing.
Keep the showroom clean and organized, ensuring displays are up-to-date.
Assist with trade shows, photo shoots, and industry events.
Support customer inquiries and maintain high standards of customer service.
Qualifications:
Excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in sales or administrative support is a plus.
