Job description

Overview
Merchandise Operations Technician: Assist in the production and distribution of planograms, merchandising initiatives and signage to stores. Responsible for communications through task management. Answer customer calls and assists customers as needed on the Kinney Cares hotline.
Merchandising Support Clerk: Assists and supports the Merchandising Department in the achievement of front-end sales, gross margin, and marketing plans.
*This is an onsite role and not remote *
Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Merchandise Operations Technician:
  • Assist in the formulation, preparation, distribution, and maintenance of all planograms for stores as determined by the Manager of Merchandise Operations.
  • Assist in the P.O.G. process through the use of our space management system, including the coordination of data from our category managers, buyers, vendors, merchandise analyst, and various other administrative personnel.
  • Assist in reviewing and implementing existing P.O.G. programs as well as assist in researching and developing any new programs, which are requested or identified through need assessment.
  • Assist in the implementation of "Changes" as per review by supervisor of visual merchandising and responsible parties.
  • Answers all customer comments and complaints in a timely manner. Refers appropriate information to the correct department, supervisor, or store.
  • Utilize the task management system to relay information to Kinney Drugs stores and to facilities at other divisions as needed.
  • Utilize the task management system to add and maintain resources for stores and operations teams to be able to access as needed.
  • Pull all necessary reports from task management and share with the appropriate department/person.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Merchandising Support Clerk:
  • Support Category Managers with daily duties.
  • Responsible for the data entry and maintenance of the Item Master files and Vendor files.
  • Reporting with MicroStrategy/Sequel.
  • Responsible for management of ad images
  • Assist with Supply Chain duties as needed.
  • Interact with suppliers, store management and distribution center personnel as is necessary for proper inventory flow.
  • Work closely with Merchandise Operations Department in the development of various merchandising support initiatives.
  • Perform general administrative support duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Experience
Preferred:
  • 2-3 years previous experience in related position, including at least 1 year of prior Store experience

Educational Requirements:
  • Minimum: High School Diploma or GED

Special Conditions of Employment:
  • Drug test
  • Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
  • Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position

Compensation:
$18.54 - $20.00 per hour
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
