Job description

Assist in planning and implementing the pursuit of strategic opportunities for a particular business or organization, by cultivating partnerships or other commercial relationships, for example, or by identifying new markets for the entity's products or services.Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Analyst, BU Sales & Strategy is to enable Kraft Heinz and their customers to grow category sales, to provide objective category expertise, and deliver the best possible product assortment, pricing, merchandising and shelving recommendations. The Analyst, BU Sales & Strategy supports customer sell-in by developing and delivering insights-based category selling stories and maintains on-going support to the internal teams & the customer regarding results and recommended strategies.
Key Components of the role:
  • Analyze business performance (sales, distribution, merchandising, innovation speed to shelf, velocity, broker performance and others) to support weekly and monthly Business Unit (BU) Sales routines and communicate in routines.

  • Support development and execution of the Annual Operating Plan for respective categories in conjunction with the Business Unit Sales team.

  • Support new product innovation launches by working closely with manager and field sales teams on sell-in, forecasting, and performance tracking processes.

  • Support development of category and brand strategies for pricing, distribution, shelving, and merchandising. Provide recommendations for successful implementation and execution based on data analysis.

  • Leverage insights resources and utilizes retail analytics from multiple data sources to support category leadership and 'sell stories'.

  • Provide analyses of various data sources to assist in effective selling story development.

  • Analyze data and maintain periodic reports & presentations for evaluation by the category team.

  • Support communication and execution of key brand initiatives to the field sales teams through multiple channels (internal sales news portal, routine field sales connect meetings, etc.).

  • Run forecasting and tracking of seasonal products.

  • Run communication of managing waste risks by category.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience in business, sales, data analytics, retail or another related field

  • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter and ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities

  • Accurate and timely reporting with drive to improve and streamline processes

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel & Power Point Required

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
