We are seeking a Military Equal Opportunity/Equal Employment Opportunity Subject Matter Expert (SME), to work as an integral part of a collaborative training and product development team for a DoD customer. The role is based in Florida. This role requires in-person support.
Duties:
  • Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in a specific area, serving as the primary resource for that knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to develop and review training and other materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with requirements.
  • Identify and capture relevant knowledge, skills, and procedures from various sources (e.g., documentation, experts, real-world scenarios).
  • Provide constructive feedback on content, offering insights and recommendations for improvement.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • MEO/EEO Policy Expertise (Foundational): Deep Policy Interpretation & Compliance: Mastery of DoW, Joint, and Service-specific MEO/EEO regulations, directives, and civilian personnel instructions. Ability to identify compliance boundaries in complex scenario dynamics.
  • Human Relations & Organizational Dynamics: Application of EO Standards to Workplace Dynamics: Ability to identify, analyze, and address behaviors and practices that violate federal equal opportunity statutes, DoW directives, or professional standards of conduct.
  • Military Structure & Operations: Joint & Service-Specific Operational Context: Deep familiarity with the unique rank structures, customs, courtesies, and operational tempos of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force to ensure scenario realism.
  • Technical Writing: Instructional Scripting & Narrative Design: Ability to write realistic conversational dialogue, clear training briefs, focus group prompts, and step-by-step user guides tailored to different learning levels.
  • Basic Research & Analytical Skills: Data-Informed Content Development: Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative information from various operational sources to ensure learning products remain relevant and effective.
  • Familiarity with Multimedia Production: Media Production Collaboration & On-Camera Advising: Basic understanding of pre-production (storyboarding), production (on-set protocol, directing actors on behavioral nuances), and post-production (editing validation).
  • Familiarity with Instructional Design Principles: Adult Learning Theory (Andragogy): Familiarity with how adults process information in digital/multimedia formats to ensure products are not just visually appealing, but instructionally effective.

  • Master's degree

Required Expereince:
  • at least (5) five years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience may be substituted for degree level.
