• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges, facilitating personalized treatment planning.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other tailored approaches suitable for individual clients, couples, and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care is provided that addresses both mental and physical health concerns.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to remain knowledgeable about the latest advancements in mental health research and effective therapeutic techniques.

Your primary focus will be on serving clients who face challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance misuse. Many clients may come from underserved backgrounds who have previously faced barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Your role will be vital in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages clients to share their experiences and work collaboratively toward their mental health goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active, unrestricted LPC license in the state of Virginia.
• Minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating effective counseling skills.
• Sound understanding of legal and ethical standards within the mental health field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software and telehealth technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in a telehealth setting and familiarity with virtual counseling techniques.
• Participation in community outreach programs aimed at enhancing mental health awareness.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, contingent on your experience and availability. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
