This senior-level Program Director role requires advanced education, relevant experience, and strong leadership skills to support a team of Designated Coordinators, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and keep track of the programs they oversee.

Enriched Living is looking for a Program Director that provides overall program oversight to ensure compliance with 245D services. As a program Director, you’ll bring knowledge in maintaining licensing compliance, supporting high-quality programming, and promoting satisfaction among the individuals served and their support teams.

The role also includes staff oversight, such as training, performance reviews, staffing ratios and schedules, and corrective action when needed.

Schedule:

Occasional nights, weekends & On-call responsibilities

Expectations for a Program Director are:
  • Knowledge and understanding of current licensing standards/requirements to ensure compliance with all services provided.
  • Ensure the duties of the Designated Coordinator(s) are fulfilled according to licensing standards.
  • Train the Designated Coordinator and direct support staff to ensure quality of training provided.
  • Provide supervision to the Designated Coordinator(s) which includes 90 day and annual reviews, maintaining employee files/notes, and corrective action when necessary.
  • Report and document incidents and emergencies, internal reviews, behavioral intervention reporting forms (BIRFs), and other necessary reporting.
  • Evaluate data/reports to develop, document, and implement ongoing program improvements.
  • Conduct mandatory management meetings on a minimum of a monthly basis.
  • Evaluation of effectiveness of service delivery, methodologies, protocols, and offer support to the Designated Coordinator on how to improve in these areas.
  • Evaluation of satisfaction of the individuals supported by Enriched Living and their support teams.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be willing to complete a Human Services background check and Motor Vehicle Record search
  • Must be available for On-call responsibilities
  • Must have familiarity with workforce laws and regulations, unemployment proceedings, etc.
  • Work independently and have strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrate strong written and oral communications skills
Required Education:
  • 4-year degree in the human service field and a minimum of 4-year direct care experience
  • 2-year degree in the human service field and a minimum of 5 years’ direct care experience
  • Diploma/certificate from Post-Secondary School in a human service field and a minimum of 6 years’ direct care experience
  • Minimum of 3-years of progressively responsible supervisory and personnel management experience in Human Services.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Psychology or related field
  • 4+ years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to people that struggle with behavioral health concerns.
  • 3+ years of management experience in 245D setting.
