Job description

Lodge Management Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Venue Supervisor to help lead daily operations at one of our high-volume hospitality venues. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences.
As a Venue Supervisor, you'll oversee daily operations, coach and support staff, maintain operational excellence, and help create the energetic atmosphere our guests have come to expect.

You should be available to work in shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays (Blackout Dates for no time off requests may include, but are not limited to: St. Patrick's Day weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend, New Years Eve)
What You'll Do
Lead & Develop the Team
  • Lead, coach, and motivate bartenders, servers, barbacks, hosts, and support staff.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture.
  • Assist with scheduling, shift assignments, and daily staffing needs.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate daily priorities, promotions, events, and operational updates.

Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences
  • Lead by example in providing friendly, attentive, and professional hospitality.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Support service during peak business periods.
  • Ensure every guest receives a memorable experience from arrival to departure.

Oversee Daily Operations
  • Manage daily venue operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Conduct routine venue walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and stock management.
  • Complete operational reports and communicate important shift information to management.

Drive Financial Performance
  • Assist with inventory management and cost control initiatives.
  • Review daily sales and operational reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Collaborate with management on special events, promotions, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Maintain Quality Standards
  • Ensure beverages and food are consistently prepared and presented to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
  • Help preserve the overall appearance and atmosphere of the venue.

Ensure Compliance & Safety
  • Enforce responsible alcohol service.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling, incident reporting, and operational documentation.
  • Promote a safe environment for both guests and employees.

Qualifications
  • At least 21 years of age
  • BASSET & Food Handler Certifications
  • Basic computer skills
  • Written and verbal comprehension
  • Must have open availability and be willing to work nights and weekends until as late as 4 or 5 a.m.
  • Proven food and beverage management experience
  • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
  • Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
  • Guest-oriented and service-minded

Compensation/Benefits
