Compensation
Salary Range: $28.75 - $39.68 per hour
The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Infusion Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of a Pharmacist is responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, distributing, and storing of intravenous and other infusion therapies for patients in ambulatory settings according to standard practices of the professional, State and Federal Laws and regulations, and departmental policies and procedures. The position requires proficiency in sterile compounding techniques, medication preparation, inventory management, and patient support.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current and valid CA Pharmacist technician license
  • Three (3) years of experience working in an acute care hospital pharmacy

Preferred Qualifications:
  • IV certification for sterile compounding
  • One (1) year of experience with home infusion, ambulatory infusion centers, or outpatient infusion pharmacy
