This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for running the entire club business--leading a team of department heads, owning overall performance, and creating a culture of accountability, energy, and growth.
Total annual compensation ranges from $60,000-$71,000 with an additional $14,000 in bonus potential.
HOW YOU WILL CHANGE LIVES
The General Manager (GM) leads club operations, owning both business performance and team development. You'll oversee up to 70 employees, including six department leaders responsible for membership growth, personal training clients, and club experience.
Through consistent coaching and presence on the floor, you'll set the standard for sales execution and coach teams to consistently convert through authentic membership conversations, personal training growth, and service upgrades that deliver real value to members.
By combining business strategy, sales leadership, and operational excellence, you'll build a high-performing club where members achieve their goals and team members grow their careers.

COMPENSATION DETAILS
  • $60,000--$71,000 base salary plus commission eligibility
  • $1,000 monthly bonus eligibility based on club performance
  • Up to $200 additional monthly kicker for exceeding key performance targets

  • Proven ability to drive revenue, manage labor, and lead overall business performance
  • Experience coaching teams to execute sales strategies and deliver results across membership enrollment, personal training, and service upgrades
  • Strong leadership presence with a track record of developing leaders and building engaged teams
  • Belief in VASA's mission to help people get healthy, feel strong, and be their best
  • 4+ years of leadership experience in fitness, retail, hospitality, or a multi-department service environment
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to inspire accountability and build a positive, high-energy culture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field
