Their main responsibilities include assisting with account inquiries, resolving issues, processing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all members. They often work in industries like fitness centers, credit unions, or membership-based organizations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in this role. How does a member services associate typically collaborate with other departments to resolve member issues?

As a Member Services Associate, you’ll often work closely with teams such as billing, technical support, and management to address and resolve member concerns efficiently. When a member’s inquiry requires expertise outside your area, you’ll coordinate with the appropriate department, communicate updates to the member, and ensure a smooth resolution process. To excel as a Member Services Associate, you typically need strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with CRM software, point-of-sale systems, and basic office applications is usually required. Outstanding communication, problem-solving ability, and a positive attitude are soft skills that set top performers apart. These competencies are vital for ensuring member satisfaction, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

The IGC Team Perks:
  • Competitive Wages: Stable $16.00 - $18.00/hour pay bracket with opportunities for professional growth.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans available.
  • Modern Wellness: 24/7, no-cost Teladoc services covering Mental Health Counseling, Physical Therapy, and Dermatology.
  • True Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO), employee discounts, and a positive, supportive team culture.
