Member Services Associate:
  • As part of the Member Services Team, you will have several different important duties working at the front desk at the Fergus Falls YMCA.
  • You will provide excellent customer service to YMCA members, guests, and staff, answering phone calls, scanning membership cards, signing up new members for memberships, registering individuals for programs, offering building tours, and answering questions about YMCA activities.
  • You will complete business transactions related to the payment of memberships, programs, services, childcare services, etc.
  • This position has many different aspects, which are all crucial to the overall operation of the YMCA. You will be an active member of the YMCA community and get to know the many people you will meet here.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience

  • Part-time employees begin accruing Sick Leave immediately upon hire and Paid Time Off (PTO) after one year of employment
  • 12% Retirement Plan - The YMCA will automatically contribute an additional 12% of the eligible employee's monthly income into their YMCA Retirement Plan when the following requirements are met:
    • The employee has been employed with the YMCA for 2 years
    • The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods
