We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to act as a senior leader and business partner with the leadership team by planning and administering policies, programs, and processes related to human resources. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring operations align with values and culture.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the development and execution of processes and programs administered and performed by team or others such as: recruitment, selection, onboarding, retention, health services, training programs, compensation plans, wage surveys, safety program coordination, unemployment, workers' compensation, disability, orientation, team member activities, and team member handbook.
  • Interviewing, Hiring, Process terminations, promotions/progression, performance management, safety, FMLA/ADA, harassment and discrimination, compliance, policy and procedures and cultural training needs to ensure a people-focused environment.
  • Advise management team in appropriate resolution of team member relations issues and corrective action.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Develop and coordinate the continuous improvement of team member relations and corrective action policies, and the communication of policies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the resolution of team member performance issues.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the HR function and ensure team member relations policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with federal and state law.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Minimum of 4 years Employee Relations and Labor Relations experience
  • Thorough understanding of all HR related regulations and laws including but not limited to FLSA, Workers Compensation, FMLA, PPACA and ADA
  • Must be current in practices of employment law, benefits and compensation, OSHA record keeping, etc.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness
  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems by leveraging business/HR knowledge and client relationships
  • Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion
  • Effective communication, writing and grammar skills and paying great attention to detail
  • Strong distribution experience.
  • Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office product; specifically, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
