Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand clients' challenges and therapeutic needs.
  • Offer therapeutic modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to ensure comprehensive care is delivered to each client.
  • Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily involve serving clients who may have limited access to mental health care. You will treat individuals, couples, and families who face a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. The goal is to empower clients by providing support and tools necessary for personal growth and achieving emotional stability.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • A thorough understanding of legal and ethical regulations governing mental health practice.
