Job description

About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at Melody Academy of Music, with locations in Fremont, Cupertino, and Palo Alto. We are looking for someone to teach private lessons out of our Palo Alto & Cupertino locations. Ability to teach other instruments a plus. We are currently hiring teachers who will instruct IN PERSON!

Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $45-50/hour for private lessons, and a base rate of $50 per hour for group classes. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefits options are available for all part- and full-time employees at Ensemble.
