Position Overview

MediPack Physical Therapy Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis at our rehabilitation facility located in The Villages, Florida. The ideal candidate will utilize their skills and knowledge to assist patients in regaining functionality, alleviating pain, and improving their overall health through tailored therapeutic interventions. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, reviewing medical histories and evaluating physical conditions to identify individual needs.
  • Design and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and modalities, such as dry needling and trigger point therapy, to facilitate pain relief and recovery.
  • Educate patients and their families on optimal body mechanics and effective exercise regimens that can be incorporated at home.
  • Continuously monitor patient progress, providing adjustments to treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations, ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of medical records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with diverse age groups, providing you the opportunity to employ a range of therapeutic techniques and to adapt your approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic physical therapy methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating the ability to treat a wide range of conditions.
