Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, primarily in a home care setting. You will visit patients at their homes, providing personalized therapy tailored to their specific conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients by reviewing their medical histories, evaluating physical conditions, and understanding their functional abilities.
• Develop customized treatment plans that are closely aligned with patients' rehabilitation goals, identifying necessary therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Implement and supervise a range of therapeutic exercises aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and flexibility, ensuring each session is tailored to the patient's individual progress.
• Employ advanced manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and dry needling to provide immediate pain relief and facilitate healing processes.
• Provide in-depth patient education on proper body mechanics and prescribed exercises for effective home care, fostering independence in managing their recovery.
• Regularly monitor and record patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary based on evaluation results and feedback.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and contributing to the patient's overall care plan.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at MediPack, you will primarily serve adult and geriatric patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your compassion and ability to connect with patients from various backgrounds will be essential as you guide them through the rehabilitation process, adjusting your approach based on their unique situations and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic rehabilitation principles and practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working specifically in an orthopedic outpatient or home care setting, demonstrating effective patient management skills.
• Proven ability to work with a diverse patient demographic, providing empathetic care and customized rehabilitation solutions.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient patient documentation and management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
