Position Overview

MediPack Physical Therapy Services Inc. is seeking an experienced and passionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our Orlando, Florida rehabilitation facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries, enabling them to regain their physical capabilities and enhance their quality of life. This full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

Work Environment

As an onsite role, you will have direct access to multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, chiropractors, and sports medicine professionals, allowing for a holistic approach to patient care. Your contributions will be integral to our mission of providing efficient and effective rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ medical histories and physical conditions to develop accurate assessments.
  • Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs and specific orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
  • Implement and oversee therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and range of motion.
  • Employ various manual therapy techniques, such as trigger point therapy and dry needling, to reduce pain and expedite the healing process.
  • Educate patients on proper body mechanics, injury prevention techniques, and at-home exercises to promote self-management of their conditions.
  • Regularly monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with a diverse group of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Our patients span all age groups, from adolescents to seniors, all seeking to regain mobility and reduce pain. As part of our patient-focused approach, you will engage with individuals to understand their specific goals and limitations, ensuring tailored treatment methodologies promote healing.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development in physical therapy and orthopedic care.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, delivering effective patient care and rehabilitation.
  • Proficient in utilizing various therapeutic interventions, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve patient outcomes.
