Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

What to expect.

This is a direct service position requiring general knowledge of serious mental illness and specific skill in rehabilitation with persons with disabilities. The position requires knowledge of medication management. This is an hourly position. The Medication Coordinators are supervised by the Program Supervisors, with clinical supervision provided by a manager.

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Providing transportation to and attending clients’ medical appointments, as necessary. You will ensure client understanding and proper follow-up of prescribed medications.
  • Developing medication plans for all clients receiving services.
  • Providing education and linkage to clients regarding medication and health services.
  • Counseling clients on the potential side effects of medication.

This position has a flat pay rate of $20.34/hr.

What we need from you.

  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • A valid full driver’s license with 3-points or less.
  • Positively referenced relevant work. 
  • Possession or use of a four-passenger car to be used to transport clients.
  • Must be covered under an active auto insurance policy and a valid copy of auto insurance is required prior to hire.
  • Knowledge of medications (all medications but specifically psychotropic), side effects, and therapeutic effects, and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge.
