Job Description – Insurance Benefits Specialist Our client in Arlington, Texas is looking for an Insurance Benefits Specialist for a 1-2 month project assignment to assist with entering and verifying patient insurance information. Company Profile Healthcare Family Oriented Benefits Specialist Role Enter and update patient insurance information accurately in the system Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to services Confirm coverage details including deductibles, co‐pays, co‐insurance, and authorization requirements Ensure insurance data is complete and compliant with internal policies Communicate with insurance carriers as needed to clarify coverage Work closely with Revenue Cycle and front‐end staff to resolve discrepancies Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information in compliance with HIPAA Support the team with additional administrative tasks as needed during the assignment Benefits Specialist Background Profile 1–3 years of medical office experience with insurance verification and benefits entry Comfort with electronic medical records (EMRs), data entry, and general office systems.
