Licensed Medicare Insurance Advisor

Location: Texas Residents | Remote

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

  • Pay: $23.00/hour

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM; occasional Saturdays during peak season

  • Employment Type: W2 | Temporary Contract

  • Start Date: Multiple start dates available

ROLE IMPACT

Join a mission-driven healthcare organization where you'll help Medicare-eligible individuals make informed healthcare decisions with confidence. As a Licensed Medicare Insurance Advisor, you'll educate consumers on Medicare plan options, guide them through the enrollment process, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while meeting performance goals in a fast-paced, supportive call center environment. Paid training includes AHIP certification for the upcoming Medicare sales season if you are not currently certified.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to educate Medicare-eligible individuals on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plan options.

  • Guide consumers through the enrollment process while ensuring all interactions remain compliant with CMS regulations and ethical sales practices.

  • Explain plan benefits, eligibility requirements, coverage options, and enrollment timelines.

  • Accurately document customer interactions, enrollment activities, and sales information within CRM systems.

  • Meet individual and team sales performance goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

  • Maintain an active Health Insurance Producer License and comply with company, state, and federal regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Health Insurance Producer License required.

  • Verifiable National Producer Number (NPN) required.

  • Minimum one (1) year of recent Medicare sales experience in an inbound and/or outbound call center environment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and educate customers over the phone.

CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS

  • Salesforce or similar CRM platform

  • Medicare enrollment and plan comparison software

  • CMS compliance and quality monitoring systems

  • Microsoft Office Suite

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plans (PDP), and Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) processes.

  • Proven consultative sales skills with a customer-first approach.

  • Ability to multitask, navigate multiple systems, and thrive in a high-volume call center environment.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to compliance and accurate documentation.
