What are Medicare Inbound representatives?

Medicare Inbound representatives are customer service professionals who handle incoming calls from individuals seeking information about Medicare plans, enrollment, and benefits. They assist callers—often seniors or those approaching eligibility—with understanding plan options, coverage details, and the enrollment process. Their role is crucial in providing accurate, clear information to help people make informed healthcare decisions. These representatives often work for insurance companies or third-party agencies that support Medicare beneficiaries.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Medicare Inbound Representative, and why are they important?

To excel as a Medicare Inbound Representative, you typically need strong knowledge of Medicare plans, excellent customer service skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with CRM systems, call center software, and sometimes a health insurance license are important technical qualifications. Outstanding communication, patience, and problem-solving abilities help representatives build trust and effectively address client needs. These competencies ensure accurate information delivery, regulatory compliance, and a positive customer experience for Medicare beneficiaries.

Job description

Inbound Sales Agent - Medicare | $75K-$120K Year 1, Uncapped W2 • $18/hr Base + Commission • Sarasota, FL (Downtown) • No Cold Calling
Build a real sales career - without the grind that usually comes with it.
Most sales jobs ask you to chase cold leads, work nights, and gamble on commission-only pay. This isn't that.
At Signature Medicare Solutions, you'll take warm inbound calls from people who already raised their hand for help. You'll guide them through Medicare plan options, build genuine trust, and close enrollments that actually improve their lives. You get a steady W2 paycheck, full benefits, and commission with no ceiling - meaning your effort directly drives your income.
What You'll Actually Earn
  • $18/hour base (W2 - taxes handled, steady paycheck)
  • Uncapped commission on every enrollment + tiered performance/retention bonuses
  • Typical Year 1: $75K-$120K. Top performers earn well beyond that.
  • Company pays 100% of your leads - no buying lists, no prospecting

Why People Stay Here
  • Warm inbound leads only. We pay for every one of them.
  • Real coaching from people who've done the job - not a script and a prayer
  • Clear path to senior agent, team lead, and management roles
  • A team that celebrates wins: contests, recognition, real culture
  • Health insurance + PTO after 90 days
  • Downtown Sarasota office (in-person - this is a team environment, not a remote gig)

The Schedule
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
What You'll Do
You'll spend your day on the phone with Medicare-eligible clients who called us. You'll learn what they need, walk them through their options, and help them enroll in the plan that fits. You'll track your numbers, work toward goals, and get rewarded when you hit them.
You'll Thrive Here If You:
  • Genuinely like talking to people and can build rapport fast
  • Want goals, scoreboards, and to be paid for your performance
  • Are coachable - willing to learn and apply feedback quickly
  • Want stability and upside (not one or the other)
  • Carry yourself professionally and take pride in doing the job right

Sales, hospitality, customer service, or call center experience is a plus - but communication skills and drive matter more than your résumé.
Requirements
  • Active Florida 2-15 insurance license (required before hire; we will cover a portion of the cost)
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must be able to work in-office in downtown Sarasota

Once You're Licensed, We Cover:
AHIP certification • Carrier contracting • Purchased states • All inbound leads • Ongoing coaching
Benefits
  • Health insurance offered after 90 days
  • 10 days combined PTO after 90 days
  • Paid classroom training (one cohort starts each month)
