100% FTE, Days. Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. This is a hybrid role. When in person, you will work at 7974 UW Health Ct in Middleton, WI.

We are seeking a Medical Equipment Planner to:

  • Be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing medical equipment for construction, renovation, and capital projects.
  • Lead equipment planning sessions and user group meetings across all project phases.
  • Prepare presentations and ensure consistent communication related to project or operational assignments.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop equipment inventories, budgets, support procurement and vendor coordination, and installation.
  • Act as an industry expert for emerging technologies and products in collaboration with clinical teams.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in biomedical engineering, healthcare, or supply chain related field. Required

Work Experience

  • 3 years Experience in healthcare related field including medical equipment planning, clinical engineering, or medical equipment procurement. Required
  • 5 years Experience in medical equipment planning for a healthcare system or consulting firm. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Medical Planner (CMP) Preferred
