GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPERIENCED LIFT VAN DRIVERS


McGregor PACE, a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, has employment opportunities for "experienced" Lift Van Drivers.
We are seeking experienced Customer service-focused LIFT VAN DRIVERS who are responsible for the safe transport of our frail older individuals to/from their homes, the Day Health Center, and off-site medical appointments. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.


MUST be consistently attentive, resourceful, efficient, and courteous, ensuring the timely and safe transport of individuals with mobility issues and/or medical issues, driving our 12-15 seat Passenger Vans.

Prior experience transporting people with special mobility needs preferred. High School Diploma or GED. Valid Ohio Driver’s License with two points or less. CDL is not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prior experience working with the frail or elderly population, transporting children, or individuals with mobility needs
  • Competence in transporting individuals with special mobility needs, including dementia, wheelchairs, and walkers preferred.
  • Excellent driving skills; experienced in navigating 12-15-seat wheelchair lift passenger vans.
  • Knowledge of Cuyahoga County roads preferred.
Defensive driving course, passenger assistance certification preferred.
