Position: Staff Secretary/Clerk
Twelve (12) Month Position
Start Date: Immediately - Pending Criminal History Clearance
General Job Description:
Perform various clerical and secretarial duties as assigned to facilitate effective office operations.
Minimal Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of clerical experience
  • Organized and professional demeanor
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Commission may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist office visitors and telephone callers
  • Carry out administrative tasks, arrange staff schedules and manage correspondence
  • Organize files, prepare documents, manage office supply inventory and schedule appointments
  • Knowledge of specific software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and others)
  • Experience in data processing, bookkeeping or other skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
  • Experience maintaining and prioritizing a manager's calendar
  • Must have the ability to keep information strictly confidential
  • Others duties as assigned by the Superintendent or Designated Program Administrator
  • Reports to: Superintendent or Designated Program Administrator

Minimum Salary: $40,000
