What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in medical spas?

Professionals in medical spas often encounter challenges such as staying updated with the latest advancements in aesthetic treatments and technology, managing client expectations for results, and maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations. Balancing a high level of customer service with the need for clinical accuracy is essential, as is effective communication within a multidisciplinary team that may include licensed aestheticians, nurses, and physicians. Building trust with clients and fostering long-term relationships can also require ongoing education and a commitment to ethical practice.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a medical spa manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Medical Spa Manager, you need expertise in spa operations, knowledge of medical aesthetics procedures, and typically a degree in business, hospitality, or a related field. Familiarity with appointment scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and relevant certifications (such as aesthetician or laser technician licenses) is often required. Exceptional customer service, leadership, and organizational skills help ensure a positive client experience and efficient team management. These abilities are crucial for maintaining high service standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and driving business growth in a competitive industry.

What is a medical spa?

Medical spas, also known as med spas, are facilities that combine traditional spa services with medical treatments under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. They offer services like Botox injections, laser treatments, chemical peels, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Unlike typical day spas, medical spas focus on procedures that require medical expertise and often use advanced technology to improve skin health and appearance. Treatments are generally performed in a relaxing environment, blending the comfort of a spa with the expertise of medical professionals.

Job description

Panoramic Assessments is hiring 4 motivated B2B Sales Representatives to work with hair salons, beauty businesses, med spas, and aesthetic practices across the United States.

We are looking for confident sales professionals who are comfortable cold calling business owners, handling objections, following up consistently, and booking qualified sales demonstrations.

This is a remote, performance-driven sales position. Your primary responsibility is to create interest, qualify prospects, and schedule 15-20 minute Google Meet demonstrations with business owners and decision-makers.

About Panoramic Assessments:
Panoramic Assessments helps salons and med spas improve the process between a new inquiry and a booked appointment or consultation. Our system connects websites, lead forms, phone calls, text and email follow-up, appointment scheduling, CRM pipelines, reviews, marketing, and customer reactivation.

For salons, we help businesses turn more inquiries into booked appointments, improve follow-up, generate reviews, increase rebooking, and reactivate past clients.

For med spas, we help practices turn more inquiries into booked consultations, improve lead follow-up, organize opportunities, generate reviews, and reactivate past patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to salons and med spas
  • Contact owners, managers, and decision-makers
  • Follow up with prospects by phone and email
  • Identify problems with lead response, follow-up, and booking
  • Handle common sales objections
  • Create interest in the Panoramic Growth System
  • Book qualified 15-20 minute Google Meet demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate information inside the CRM
  • Confirm scheduled appointments
  • Follow up with interested prospects
  • Record detailed notes for the sales closer
  • Follow company scripts, training, and sales processes
  • Meet daily and monthly performance goals

Performance Expectations:

  • Approximately 80 outbound calls per full sales day
  • Approximately 25 personalized follow-up emails per day
  • Approximately 6 decision-maker conversations per day
  • Goal of approximately 30 demonstrations booked per month
  • Company operating goal of 5 new clients per representative per month

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous B2B sales, cold calling, or appointment-setting experience
  • Confident and professional on the phone
  • Comfortable speaking directly with business owners
  • Strong objection-handling skills
  • Persistent and consistent with follow-up
  • Organized and comfortable using CRM software
  • Competitive and motivated by performance
  • Able to work independently
  • Coachable and willing to follow a proven sales process
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, and professional remote workspace

Preferred Experience:

  • B2B sales
  • Appointment setting
  • Cold calling
  • SaaS or software sales
  • Digital marketing or advertising sales
  • Beauty or salon industry sales
  • Med spa or aesthetics sales
  • Medical sales
  • CRM sales

This Position May Not Be a Good Fit If:

  • You are uncomfortable making cold calls
  • You only want inbound leads
  • You stop following up after one attempt
  • You do not like working with performance goals
  • You do not consistently update CRM records
  • You require constant supervision
  • You are uncomfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers

Compensation:
Commission-based sales position with uncapped earning potential. Compensation is based on performance and new client production. Full compensation details will be discussed with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Career Growth:
Strong performers may have opportunities to advance into Senior Sales Representative, Closer, Team Lead, Sales Manager, or other leadership positions as the company expands.

How to Apply:
Please submit your resume and answer the following questions:

  1. How many years of outbound sales or appointment-setting experience do you have?
  2. Are you comfortable making 60-100 outbound calls during a full sales day?
  3. Are you comfortable cold calling business owners who have never spoken with you before?
  4. What types of businesses or customers have you previously sold to?
  5. Approximately how many outbound calls did you make per day in your previous sales position?
  6. What was your previous monthly sales or appointment quota?
  7. What CRM systems have you used?
  8. Are you comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment?
  9. Why do you believe you would be successful selling to salon and med spa owners?

Candidates selected for the next stage will complete a short phone interview and sales role-play.
