As of Jun 8, 2026, the average yearly pay for medical spas in the United States is $45,043.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $38,500.00 and $48,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are some common challenges faced by professionals working in medical spas?

Professionals in medical spas often encounter challenges such as staying updated with the latest advancements in aesthetic treatments and technology, managing client expectations for results, and maintaining strict compliance with health and safety regulations. Balancing a high level of customer service with the need for clinical accuracy is essential, as is effective communication within a multidisciplinary team that may include licensed aestheticians, nurses, and physicians. Building trust with clients and fostering long-term relationships can also require ongoing education and a commitment to ethical practice.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Medical Spa Manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Medical Spa Manager, you need expertise in spa operations, knowledge of medical aesthetics procedures, and typically a degree in business, hospitality, or a related field. Familiarity with appointment scheduling software, point-of-sale systems, and relevant certifications (such as aesthetician or laser technician licenses) is often required. Exceptional customer service, leadership, and organizational skills help ensure a positive client experience and efficient team management. These abilities are crucial for maintaining high service standards, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and driving business growth in a competitive industry.

What are medical spas?

Medical spas, also known as med spas, are facilities that combine traditional spa services with medical treatments under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. They offer services like Botox injections, laser treatments, chemical peels, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures. Unlike typical day spas, medical spas focus on procedures that require medical expertise and often use advanced technology to improve skin health and appearance. Treatments are generally performed in a relaxing environment, blending the comfort of a spa with the expertise of medical professionals.

Job description

Description
Body Balance System is seeking established independent sales representatives to introduce the OvationULT , the most advanced full-body red light therapy bed on the market, to med spas, medical aesthetic clinics, anti-aging centers, pain management practices, and chiropractic clinics nationwide.
THE PRODUCT:
The OvationULT is a zero-gravity, full-body red light therapy bed featuring 28,443 dual-wavelength diodes (635nm red + 850nm near-infrared), delivering 65 mW/cmยฒ of irradiance at contact.
It is FDA Registered (#3010627475) and NRTL Certified by SGS North America.
Handcrafted in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Prices unaffected by tariffs.
Already trusted and installed by:
  • Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts
  • Fairmont Hotels
  • Bellagio (Las Vegas)
  • Aria Resort & Casino
  • Canyon Ranch

THE EARNINGS OPPORTUNITY:
  • MSRP: $60,000 per unit

YOUR CLIENT ROI STORY:
Most of our customers start generating $6-8K/month in revenue within 6 months, and equipment payback in 6-8 months. Near-zero consumable cost. This is a product that sells itself once you get in front of the right buyer. If you are already walking into med spas, aesthetic clinics, wellness centers, pain management offices, or chiropractic practices, this is the easiest add-on line you will carry this year.
Candidate profile and Call Points
Ideal candidates are currently in the field calling on med spas, medical aesthetic clinics, anti-aging and longevity practices, pain management centers, or chiropractic offices.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Independent reps with an existing book of business in medical aesthetics, wellness, or capital medical equipment
  • Reps currently selling lasers, body contouring devices, injectables-adjacent products, or other high-ticket wellness or aesthetic equipment
  • Reps calling on hotel spa directors, luxury resort wellness managers, or hospitality procurement with access to premium wellness venues
  • Self-motivated closers comfortable with a 30-90 day capital equipment sales cycle
  • Reps who understand the aesthetics and wellness space and can articulate equipment ROI to practice owners and medical directors This is NOT an entry-level opportunity.

We are looking for reps who already have relationships in the target call points and want to add a premium, high-commission, fully credentialed product line that opens doors on its own.
Territories Available
We are just rolling out our Independent Rep network, and so we currently have all territories in the US available.
