Job description

Join a growing, team-focused family practice where Medical Assistants play an essential role in patient care, care coordination, and clinic success.

Are you a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or EMT who enjoys variety in your day and takes pride in providing excellent patient care? Due to continued growth in our practice, Bonneville Family Practice is expanding our team and looking for a dependable, team-oriented Medical Assistant to help support our increasing patient volume.

We are especially interested in candidates who enjoy patient follow-up, care coordination, and case management, or who are interested in developing their skills in these areas. We are open to training the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and alignment with our team culture.

Why Bonneville Family Practice

We are a busy, well-established family practice that values teamwork, work/life balance, and a positive workplace culture. Our goal is to provide exceptional care for our patients while creating an environment where staff feel supported, appreciated, and able to grow. Our team enjoys celebrating wins together through staff appreciation events, retreats, community involvement, and fun office traditions.

What You'll Do

  • Room patients and take vital signs
  • Assist providers with exams and procedures
  • Perform lab draws, injections, EKGs, and other clinical tasks
  • Document patient information in the EMR
  • Provide patient education and support
  • Assist with patient calls, texts, and follow-up
  • Help with prior authorizations and referrals
  • Assist with care coordination and patient follow-up needs
  • Help connect patients with appropriate resources and services
  • Support case management activities and help track patient needs and follow-up
  • Support coordinators and other team members as needed
  • Jump in where needed to keep clinic operations running smoothly

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on clinical work and the coordination side of patient care. An interest in case management, helping patients navigate their care, and ensuring important follow-up doesn't fall through the cracks is a strong plus.

What We're Looking For

  • Active CMA, CNA, or EMT certification preferred
  • Medical office or family practice experience preferred, but not required for the right fit
  • Interest in care coordination, patient advocacy, and case management
  • Willingness to learn and be trained in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow through on patient needs and coordinate multiple tasks
  • Adaptable and comfortable assisting in multiple areas of the clinic
  • Dependable, professional, and patient-focused
  • A positive attitude and strong team mentality
  • Strong alignment with our team culture—this is a key priority in our hiring process

Benefits & Perks

  • Embroidered scrubs in four fun colors
  • Employee pricing at our in-house Med Spa (Botox, skincare, laser, and more)
  • Staff incentive program with real prizes
  • Company retreats and team appreciation events
  • Supportive leadership and a team-oriented environment
  • Opportunities to grow and advance in your medical career

If you're looking for a role where you can contribute, grow, build your clinical and care coordination skills, and be part of a strong, supportive team, we encourage you to apply.
