G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is on the lookout for an energetic, innovative, and driven software developer to join our cutting‑edge team.

About the Role

As a software developer at G2, you’ll dive into exciting projects, harnessing your skills to solve complex challenges and support national defense. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are at the forefront.

Responsibilities
  • Perform software engineering that includes software planning, requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, debugging, and installing large‑scale software systems.
What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in Agile Software Engineering Processes and Life Cycle.
  • Experience working within automated development/build environments leveraging tools such as Git/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, using effective communication and writing skills.
  • This position requires that the candidate be a U.S. citizen and either have, or be able to obtain, and maintain a DoD clearance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with software development for relational databases such as H2 DB.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to navigate each department at G2 and at the assigned client facilities.
Location

This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in San Diego, CA. Travel is <15%.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position in California is $120,000/year to $150,000/year, depending on expertise and market conditions. G2 offers a competitive benefits package, including medical coverage, a 401(k) plan, an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), tuition reimbursement, and more.
