Job Title: Staining Software Engineer Associate

Location: Tucson, AZ

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Pay Rate: $40 - $55/hr. On W2

 

Job Description:

  • This is a requisition for an onsite Staining Software Engineer Associate. The pay range for this position is $40-$55/hr

Job Summary:

  • The Staining Software Engineer Associate designs and develops staining procedures in close partnership with our assay development teams. You will create software supplements to install these procedures, manage the underlying database elements required to support them within our applications, and ensure all deliverables are executed on time. This role requires a commitment to high-quality output and a "Quality First Time" mindset within a fast-paced environment.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, optimize, and maintain software solutions for diagnostic applications.
  • Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure all software development adheres to rigorous medical software regulations and industry standards.
  • Testing & Maintenance: Perform comprehensive testing and debugging, while supporting the ongoing deployment and maintenance of software systems.

Who You Are:

  • Experience: 0–5 years of experience
  • Education: A four-year degree is required. We prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or other Engineering discipline; candidates with a background in Life Sciences (Biology, Chemistry) will also be considered.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated capability to approach challenges analytically and drive innovative resolutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to articulate technical details clearly.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing competing priorities while fostering strong, productive partnerships.
  • Solid understanding of industry best practices and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical device software development
