Job description

JOB SUMMARY:Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer the Medical Staff Services Manager is responsible for management and coordination of any and all duties and services of the Medical Staff Office, including but not limited to supervision, training, coordination, delegation, performance management and assessment of direct reports in the execution of provider credentialing and reappointments. The Manager will interact in-person via email and/or telephone with a variety of internal and external colleagues in the process of credentialing and re-credentialing applications and renewals for all providers. Other duties include supervision of applications and preparation of verification letters.

Ensure ongoing compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulatory requirements while supporting medical staff leadership and organizational strategy.The Medical Staff Services Manager will serve as back-up for all responsibilities of support staff and will perform all other appropriately assigned duties from the CMO and/or any other leader.
