BDC/Internet Sales Consultant

As a BDC/Internet Sales Consultant at Headquarter Honda in Clermont, FL, you will play a crucial role in monitoring internet leads and providing top-notch client follow-up. The successful candidate will be a customer-service oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage incoming customer leads. An essential part of this role is the ability to comfortably make phone calls and send emails to prospective clients on a regular schedule.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Monitor and respond promptly to internet leads from the dealership website, manufacturer platforms, and third-party sources.
  • Qualify prospects by asking relevant questions to accurately assess vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Adhere to established call and email scripts to ensure consistent and effective communication.
  • Schedule, confirm, and follow up on all customer appointments, whether attended or missed.
  • Collect and deliver requested information to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers and the BDC Manager to review performance objectives, analyze results, and plan daily activities.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to generate new business opportunities and foster long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, recognizing it as the foundation of long-term business success.
  • Engage in daily prospecting activities via phone, email, and mail; maintain a structured prospect development system.
  • Manage an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current dealership inventory, promotions, and pricing.
  • Introduce customers to the Service Department to highlight the dealership’s ongoing support and service quality.
  • Participate in monthly goal setting and forecasting activities with management.
  • Attend all scheduled sales meetings and training sessions to support ongoing development.
  • Stay informed on automotive industry terminology, trends, and product updates.
  • Consistently demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company's Vision, Mission, and Core Values in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one-year Automotive BDC experience strongly preferred.
