Job description

Job Description Day/Night shift Process Technician Full-Time | Mid-Level $5,000 Sign-On Bonus 2/2/3 schedule (12 hour shift ) Day Shift: 6am - 6pm Night Shift - 6pm - 6am Join a growing manufacturing team as a Process Technician supporting injection molding operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up molds, optimizing molding processes, troubleshooting production issues, and working closely with Process Engineers to improve efficiency, quality, and overall equipment performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plastics processing professional looking to grow their career in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Set up and start injection molding presses, including loading robot programs. Install and set up new molds while creating and maintaining setup instructions. Monitor production processes and optimize machine performance.

Troubleshoot molding, tooling, and processing issues to minimize downtime. Perform scientific molding studies and collaborate with Process Engineers. Conduct qualification studies, including FAT and SAT.

Execute mold validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) following established validation protocols. Monitor production quality and support continuous improvement initiatives. Program injection molding machine robots (preferred).

Work with instrumented tooling systems such as Kistler or RJG (preferred). Follow all safety procedures, GMP, GDP, and quality standards. Support additional manufacturing and process improvement projects as needed.

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Technical degree in Manufacturing, Plastics, Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred. 5-7 years of plastics injection molding experience.

Experience with mold setup, processing, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of scientific molding principles. Experience performing IQ/OQ/PQ validations, FAT, and SAT.

Basic hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to program core sequences on molds. Forklift and Lockout/Tagout certifications preferred.

Experience with Kistler or RJG systems is a plus. Robot programming experience is a plus. Must be willing to work a 12-hour shift schedule.
