Sr Tax Accountant
Can work out of Gable or Ft Lauderdale office
Salary: $$154,000 - $215,000 plus bonus up to 5-6%
As a Senior Tax Manager you will play a critical role in delivering innovative global tax solutions to a diverse client base. You will lead complex international tax engagements, provide strategic consulting, and mentor a high-performing team. This role offers strong opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and exposure to clients across industries including technology, manufacturing, real estate, and more.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a full range of international tax services for multiple clients, including planning, consulting, and compliance
  • Advise multinational companies on tax implications of global operations, coordinating U.S. and foreign tax laws to develop optimal strategies
  • Consult on tax-efficient structuring of international transactions, tax treaties, offshore investment activities, and repatriation programs
  • Structure inbound investments for foreign companies and individuals, including U.S. withholding tax planning, treaty planning, and FIRPTA
  • Oversee engagement objectives, budgets, staffing, billing, and performance to ensure high-quality client deliverables
  • Identify, assess, and manage engagement risks while providing solutions to complex international tax issues
  • Mentor, develop, and manage staff through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Support business development initiatives and strengthen long-term client relationships
  • Communicate international tax developments and their implications to clients and internal teams
  • Stay current on international tax regulations, trends, and best practices

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Master’s in Taxation (MST) or LLM preferred
  • CPA and/or JD required; LLM in Taxation a plus
  • 7+ years of progressive international tax consulting and/or pubic accounting experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong technical expertise in inbound and outbound transactions, transfer pricing, foreign tax credits, and tax minimization strategies
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent analytical, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management, organizational, and leadership capabilities
  • Experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is a plus
